MEET HANNAH KING

Hannah is a Psychotherapy and Art Therapy student currently completing her postgraduate studies at the Toronto Art Therapy Institute. A lifelong Muskoka resident who grew up in Gravenhurst, she brings a strong commitment to accessible, client-centred care grounded in creativity, equity, and trauma-informed, anti-oppressive practice.

Hannah holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours and has a professional background in community-based support work, youth programming, and accessible client-centred care. She began her career working in Personal Support and Recreation Coordination within retirement communities, where she developed a passion for creative and relational approaches that support emotional wellbeing, connection, and quality of life. She later transitioned into youth and community-focused roles, coordinating initiatives and facilitating creative wellness programming throughout Muskoka.

Alongside her studies, Hannah continues to work within community programming, experiences that continue to shape her approach to art therapy and strengthen her commitment to creating supportive spaces where individuals feel seen, empowered, and safe to explore their experiences through creative expression.
