
Anxiety Art Therapy Group for Moms
The experience of anxiety can be overwhelming and affect our confidence, self-worth, and seriously diminish our quality of life. In art therapy, we can help us explore these challenging emotions and provide an outlet to channel our worries and anxious feelings.
In this safe and supportive art therapy group, moms will develop stronger self-awareness and begin to build resiliency skills through art. They will get to know their anxiety, how to work with it in new ways, and how to support themselves through anxious experiences.
In the Anxiety Art Therapy Group for Moms, we’ll be:
👍Learning ways to express our worries and anxiety through art
👍Practicing self-compassion and self-acceptance
👍Getting to know our anxiety and inner worrier
👍Practicing ways to work with our anxiety using various techniques
This is a . No previous art skills are required to participate. Maximum 3 participants for a more gentle and supportive experience.
$360 exchange for 6-week art therapy group (1.5 hour per session).

About the Facilitator
Janet Ho is a Registered Psychotherapist and Professional Art Therapist. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York University and previously worked at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in the Addictions Division in research. In her work with clients, Janet brings a trauma-informed, strength-based approach that nurtures mindfulness, play, self-awareness, self-expression, growth and resilience to lead more fulfilling and meaningful lives.
